Tell us more about who you are and what you do!
I’m a creative entrepreneur, strategist, and founder of House of Jonesy. We produce creator-led campaigns, immersive experiences, and strategic partnerships designed for both IRL and the digital space. My work is rooted in culture across fashion, lifestyle, beauty, wellness, and outdoors. When I’m not behind my laptop, I’m in front of the camera modeling or creating UGC for brands, and almost always finding an excuse to get outside and play.

What inspired you to start your own creative house agency?
Independence and curiosity, guided by a belief that it’s always better to try than to wonder “what if.”
I spent most of my adult career in startups and boutique businesses juggling multiple responsibilities and working closely with the founders. It became a real crash course in what it took to build and sustain a business. I had wanted to start my own company, and with the support of my partner, friends, and professional network, I took the leap of faith.
Beyond that, I wanted greater influence in shaping brand presence by prioritizing intentional partnerships over transactional ones. Recognizing the depth of creative and strategic insight I brought to my network as a trusted partner, I knew it was time to build something of my own.

How do you foresee the influencer market shifting and growing in 2026?
The creator market is evolving past vanity metrics and moving toward IP ownership, niche authority, and real world experiences.
IP ownership is increasingly important; brands want to see how they can integrate into a creator’s world (my tip to creators here: don’t wait for a brand to say yes to fund your ideas. Start building it without them. Brands need to see proof before they invest in you).
Niche authority is another major driver. The more you position yourself as a thought leader or tastemaker within a specific space, the more compelling you become to brands.
And year over year I’m seeing a strong pull from URL to IRL. What that looks like will vary by creator, but collectively, brands, creators, and their audiences are craving real, in-person connection. Digital isn’t going anywhere, but it’s being positioned as secondary to human connection & lived experiences.

You have a lot of brand experience, what do you think makes a brand stand out in this saturated market?
The brands that truly stand out are the ones that lead with clarity, consistency, and intention. It’s not about being the loudest or chasing every trend, it’s about knowing exactly who you are, who you’re for, and showing up in a way that feels authentic and aligned across every touchpoint.
Strong brands focus on building trust over time, whether that’s through thoughtful storytelling, consistent values, or how they collaborate with creators and communities. The most compelling brands don’t treat creators as distribution channels, they invite them into their world and build together.
I also think the brands that win today understand that they’re not just selling products - they’re building culture and experiences. The ones that invest in community and embrace real human connections are the ones that create lasting impact and loyalty.

What is your number one piece of advice for those looking to start their own business?
Start before you “feel” ready because honestly, when are we ever truly ready? Most times we feel prepared because someone gives us the green light, but as an entrepreneur, no one tells you when to go. You have to be the one to take that first step.
If I had to share a few more pieces of advice (because it’s hard to pick just one): build a financial runway before you take off on your own, execution will always beat perfection, and lastly, invest in building your network within your industry. Those relationships are working behind the scenes advocating for you, identifying opportunities, and opening doors, just as you should be doing for them. It goes both ways. I’m a huge proponent of networking and relationship-building and believe it’s the backbone of any business. All of these were critical for me when I decided to branch out on my own.

How do you balance your entrepreneurial career and other interests and hobbies?
Honestly, this is still something I’m working through. This type of balance has never come naturally to me, largely because I truly love the work I do and I’m a recovering hyper-independent, overachieving millennial (lol).
That said, I’ve learned that for me to show up fully in my work long-term, I have to step away and make time for the things I enjoy outside of it. I’m incredibly grateful to be doing work I love, for myself, and to have the flexibility to create my own schedule. That flexibility has made it easier for me to incorporate movement, time outdoors, and other creative outlets into my life, which has been essential in keeping me grounded.
Ultimately, I’ve let go of the idea of a work/life balance and instead think about balance through the lens of rhythm. I have seasons of intensity and seasons of rest - and learning to honor both has been key.

What do you like about your Just Black Denim jeans?
They strike the perfect balance between comfort, fit, and versatility. They’re the kind of jeans you can dress up or down without overthinking it. They’re flattering, and easy to live in, which is exactly what I need in my everyday essentials.
