Cute high waisted shorts but runs small in the legs!

Cute shorts with just the right amount of stretch. However, my size on the size chart is a medium (28 inch waist, 38 inch hips) but I got a large and had to get them taken in in the waist. The medium would have been too tight in the thighs.

Great Fit...when you get the right size

I'm usually a small or x-small. I'm 5'6", 122lbs and fit and lean. I wear a medium in this short and it fits just right. So size up by at least 1.

Fit is just as great as jeans

I was worried that these wouldn’t fit well because I struggle with shorts and a previous review mentioned issues with accurate sizing and stretch. But I ordered my usual size that I get in JBD and they fit perfectly. And shorts never fit well for me due to a smaller waist and bigger hips. For reference, I’m a 27 in JBD jeans and ordered a S (5’3”). I’d say the waist may have a very slight gap but I’m not sure it’s enough to have it taken in, if I were to bloat it would then be too tight so I appreciate a tiny bit of room. There is definitely stretch also. Very high waisted if you have a short torso. Comfortably covers my backside.

So flattering!

Love these shorts! Super flattering and I’m not normally a high waist lover because I’m very petite and they usually cover my ribs lol! I bought XS and they fit very well (normally I’m a 23/24 jean or 00/0)

The sizing is way off. I normally wear a 10 in JBD but returned both the medium & large because they were too small. The description also says they have some stretch but they do not. Really disappointing as I love the style & material - just wish they fit like the crops.
